Oh, The Horror – Exorcismus 

Matthew 11:15-17 KJV

¹⁵He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. ¹⁶But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, ¹⁷And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

The word "exorcism" comes from the Latin word exorcismus, and the earliest known use of the English word was around 1400. Exorcism is the religious or spiritual practice that involves evicting malevolent spirits from a person or place that is believed to be possessed. The practice is ancient and is part of the belief systems of many cultures and religions.
